I recently had the pleasure of staying at La'Al Yam in a beautiful hamlet near Sedbergh. It truly felt like a home away from home, with its old-fashioned charm and modern comforts. the cottage was impeccably styled and equipped with everything needed for a cozy and comfortable stay. the location was ideal, offering peaceful and quiet surroundings, perfect for relaxing walks along the river and exploring the nearby booktown of Sedbergh. the hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return to this idyllic place and create more wonderful memories. Cons: Nothing to mention 🚫.

As a tourist, I loved the cosy and well-furnished cottage with a small but well-equipped kitchen. the bathroom was a highlight with a shower cubicle and a roll-top bath. the location was great, hidden in a small street surrounded by similar houses and convenient for exploring the Lake District. the hosts were friendly and accessible via email.
Felt cosy, nothing too much trouble.

We absolutely loved the cosy and quirky decor of the cottage, it had a charming and unique feel to it. The log fire was a highlight and created a warm and inviting atmosphere. the cottage had a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances such as a washing machine and dishwasher. The location was perfect - nestled in a quiet street but still within a 10-minute walk to the town center, providing a peaceful escape with the convenience of amenities nearby.
The only downside we found was the firmness of the master bed, which unfortunately affected our sleep quality. It would have been great if the mattress was softer to ensure a more comfortable night's rest.

Our recent stay at La'Al Yam was a delightful experience. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, showcasing a mix of cultures in its paintings, furniture, and bedding. We especially loved the little back area where we could sit and enjoy the stunning views of the hills, fields, and wildlife. Being pet-friendly was a big bonus for us, as we were able to bring our beloved dog along. The amenities provided, such as the dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, and coffee machine. La'Al Yam provided a warm and homely atmosphere, making it a lovely getaway option.

Perfect location for a peaceful Christmas getaway. We loved the nearby walks along the river and to the charming town nearby. The cottage was cozy and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The seating in the property was too low for our liking, and the steep stairs were a bit challenging. It would have been helpful to have logs provided for the wood burning fire.

The cottage was full of charm and had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The fireplace was a highlight and added to the overall warmth and comfort of the place. Additionally, the location was ideal, with easy access to the nearby town and beautiful country walks. One of the best aspects was the stunning view from the back garden, which provided a peaceful spot to enjoy a morning coffee.
The lack of clear instructions on how to access Netflix, although it wasn't a major issue as there were plenty of free view channels to choose from. Another small drawback was the lack of a secure area for dogs, as the cottage's neighboring gardens were easily accessible from the garden and led directly to the road.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful, with a lovely old-fashioned charm and modern amenities. The decor was quirky and homely, making it feel cozy and inviting. We loved the spacious bathroom, with its rustic feel and attention to detail. The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming, providing us with fresh bread, butter, milk, and eggs for breakfast. The location was excellent, situated in a quiet hamlet with walks right from the doorstep. It was the perfect getaway for a peaceful and relaxing trip. The views from the courtyard at the back of the house were also stunning, adding to the overall charm of our stay.
One minor quibble was that one of us found the shower head to be a bit small in height. finding the location on Google Maps was a bit tricky, so it's best to manually search for the address.
