It truly felt like a home away from home, with its old-fashioned charm and modern comforts. the cottage was impeccably styled and equipped with everything needed for a cozy and comfortable stay. the location was ideal, offering peaceful and quiet surroundings, perfect for relaxing walks along the river and exploring the nearby booktown of Sedbergh. the hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. As a tourist, I loved the cosy and well-furnished cottage with a small but well-equipped kitchen. the bathroom was a highlight with a shower cubicle and a roll-top bath. the location was great, hidden in a small street surrounded by similar houses and convenient for exploring the Lake District. the hosts were friendly and accessible via email.

We absolutely loved the cosy and quirky decor of the cottage, it had a charming and unique feel to it. The log fire was a highlight and created a warm and inviting atmosphere. the cottage had a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances such as a washing machine and dishwasher. The location was perfect - nestled in a quiet street but still within a 10-minute walk to the town center, providing a peaceful escape with the convenience of amenities nearby.

The only downside we found was the firmness of the master bed, which unfortunately affected our sleep quality. It would have been great if the mattress was softer to ensure a more comfortable night's rest.

The seating in the property was too low for our liking, and the steep stairs were a bit challenging. It would have been helpful to have logs provided for the wood burning fire.

One minor quibble was that one of us found the shower head to be a bit small in height. finding the location on Google Maps was a bit tricky, so it's best to manually search for the address.
